Kourtney Kardashian Awkwardly Went Silent On Live TV When Asked About Kim

Today Australia

Kourtney Kardashian appeared on an Australian news program on Thursday morning, and things got weird AF when she was asked about how her sister was doing post-robbery.

By now, you'd think every member of the star-studded family would have brewed up some sort of response for the repeated question regarding Kim's mental health.

When David Campbell -- co-host of the talk show -- tried to pick Kourtney's brain about the matter, she didn't have an immediate answer, though.

The hosts began by addressing the golden question and asked,

How is everyone going and how is Kim doing?

As soon as Kourtney was about to answer, she was interrupted by a voice off camera who is believed to have been a PR person.

She paused her thought completely and gazed dramatically into the distance.

"Kourtney, have we lost you?"

The host, seemingly concerned, asked if there was someone talking to her. She remained creepily staring off-camera and agreed someone was indeed speaking with her.

Who? We aren't sure -- but her look of distress is definitely concerning.

Maybe there was a PR person telling her how to answer (or not to), or maybe this was some bizarre Illuminati shit.

Whatever it was, it made me uncomfortable.

OK, maybe I'm looking too far into this. I'm sure she was talking to someone on her team who was giving her direction on how to answer the question.

Either way, Campbell seemed mildly offended and said,

I think she's totally blanking me on that question. She could just say her sister is fine! I mean I think we just said that you know we're very concerned and we were onside and we hoped that everyone's fine, which I still do.

All right Campbell, chill for a second.

Apparently, the connection on the program cut out for a few moments, but Kourtney was quickly connected back to the show.

Once she was back on air, she was able to answer the question about her sister with ease.

She explained how her family is still "shaken up" from the robbery -- but I'm still a little shaken up by how long it took her to answer that question.

Talk about adding more drama to the traumatic situation.

Kourtney continued, saying,

I think she has a big supportive family and I know that, like, all of the traumatic things that we've been through, you know, we get through them together as a family and that's what family is all about.

Who knows if that's what she meant, or if it was what she was told to say by the mysterious off-camera voice.

Regardless, we hope Kim's doing well.
