Lady Gaga Receives Surgery Pep Talk From Alex Rodriguez
Alex Rodriguez is rumored to have given Lady Gaga a pep talk prior to undergoing hip surgery this Wednesday. The Yankee baseball star is currently recovering from a very similar procedure and has been offering the pop star some friendly advice to help her get through it!
According to ANI, Lady Gaga and A-Rod arrived at New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery around the same time. Both the singer and the athlete are under the care of Dr. Bryan Kelly.
Gaga was reportedly very nervous about having hip surgery…until she sat down with A-Rod for a little chat. It’s unclear what A-Rod exactly said to Gaga during their conversation, but sources say he was able to calm her nerves.
The New York Daily News explains that doctors expect Lady Gaga to recover smoothly from the procedure.
The singer’s manager made it clear that she will require “strict downtime” in order to heal.
While A-Rod may have been able to calm her nerves about the surgery….the reported $30 million in refunds she owes for canceling her tour is probably still weighing on her.
Alex Rodriguez had hip surgery back in January and is expected to be out of commission until midseason.
A-Rod recently said of his recovery:
“I am conducting two rehab sessions each and every day in an effort to get back on the field and rejoin my Yankees teammates. I think we have a great team, and I want to be a part of it.”
