We previously released a story about YouTube starting to crack down on record labels who have been purchasing “fake views” for their artist’s music videos, and the latest artist to feel the wrath is Lady Gaga…
The pop star has been stripped of 156 million views from her official YouTube account. Youtube is looking to clean up the fraudulent views, which can actually generate revenue for the artists through advertisements.
Gaga isn’t the the first and last artist to be affected by Youtube’s new policy — other notable artists include Michael Jackson, Chris Brown and Beyonce!
