Lamar Odom Has Checked Into Rehab Following Finalization Of Divorce From Khloé

It looks like Lamar Odom might be ready to turn over a new leaf following the finalization of his divorce from Khloé Kardashian.

The 37-year-old former NBA star has reportedly checked into a rehab facility in the San Diego area. According to TMZ, Lamar has been at the rehab center for four days already and plans to stay for an extended period of time.

Odom’s downfall was first fueled by an alleged crack cocaine addiction, which became a massive issue during his marriage to Khloé Kardashian. Since then, Lamar has been battling his addiction as he attempts to recover and take his life back.

Khloé even tried to get Lamar to enter treatment back in 2012. Odom only stayed at the facility for three weeks before checking himself out, which eventually led to another rough patch several years later.

Back in October of 2015, the former NBA champion was found unconscious at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. Odom was fighting for his life after an apparent overdose.

Once he was found unconscious by an unidentified female with a “mucus-like” substance emitting from his nose and mouth, Odom was eventually rushed to Desert View Hospital.

During the difficult time, Khloé and Lamar had been already actively seeking a divorce. However, Khloé rescinded the divorce filing while Lamar nursed himself back to good health.

Still, the couple couldn’t work things out. Khloé refiled for divorce from the former NBA star and cited irreconcilable differences in May of this year.

Most recently, a Los Angeles judge finalized their divorce on Friday, December 9. The paperwork became effective as of December 17. This means Khlomar is officially over.

While Khloé keeps busy with her new denim brand and reality TV career, it looks like Lamar Odom will seek to pull himself finally from the depths of his career in hopes of regaining stability.
