Two days after resigning as head of the caner-fighting charity Livestrong, Lance Armstrong was front and center for a bash celebrating the foundations 15th anniversary.

Despite being stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and losing a majority of his sponsorships, Armstrong still received a standing ovation from the crowd of 1,700.

“I am … truly humbled by your support,” Armstrong said. “It’s been an interesting couple of weeks. It’s been a difficult couple of weeks for me and my family, my friends and this foundation.”

Armstrong said his decision to resign as head of Livestrong was done so that the charity wouldn’t be harmed by his doping scandal.

And how is he doing, he was asked. “I’d say I’ve been better, but I’ve also been worse,” Armstrong responded.

It detailed how Armstrong not only used banned performance-enhancing drugs himself but pressured all his fellow cyclists on the U.S. Postal Service-sponsored team, to dope as well.

Armstrong has never admitted any wrong-doing but has dropped his legal challenges to the USADA, and he was not about to issue any apologies last night.

“This mission is bigger than me – it’s bigger than any individual,” Armstrong said defiantly.

“We will not be deterred; we will move forward,” he said.

Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland are in a one-sided fight. Although this piece of news sounds media-generated and totally illegitimate, Prinze said that Jack Bauer was the “most unprofessional dude in the world“ and that his experience on “24″ made him want to quit acting. One of Freddie’s main complaints was the height difference between him and […]

Why Sloan From ‘Entourage’ Is Still The Wife Every Guy Wishes He Had

It’s completely natural for guys to never get over their first love. But the fact that “Entourage” has been off the air for almost four years, and I still haven’t gotten over Sloan is an entirely different matter. There’s really only been one fictional character to steal my heart with as much vigor as Sloan […]

It’s pretty difficult to anticipate work life before actually graduating. After four years of printed syllabi and having all your work cut out and assigned to you, the notion of being thrust onto a blank canvas, without numbers that correspond to colors, can be extremely overwhelming. Even for those who excelled in undergrad, the habits […]
