Lindsay Lohan should know by now that she always gets caught. Why even bother trying to lie? According to law enforcement officials, Lohan lied to cops on Friday when she told them that she was not driving the Porsche that crashed into a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway.
As a result of her lies, Lohan could be prosecuted and her probation could be revoked.
One source said that the Santa Monica Police Department went to the hospital when Lohan was getting checked out after the accident.
Lohan told police that she was in the passenger seat and her assistant was driving. However, Lohan’s assistant gave her away when she told cops that Lohan was the one behind the wheel.
Lohan will face some kind of punishment, since it is a crime to provide false information to a police officer.
Lohan could also face jail time if the cops rule her lying a probation violation.
Witnesses said that both Lohan and her assistant hopped out of the passenger side of the car after the accident.
Lohan’s attorney Shawn Holley rushed to the hospital, but didn’t beat police there.
