In November we reported that Mick Jagger’s love letters to his former mistress Marsha Hunt would be auctioned off at Sotheby’s in London. Marsha Hunt was the inspiration for the Rolling Stones’ 1971 hit “Brown Sugar” and had Mick’s first child.

The letters were expected to sell for £70,000 – 100,000, but someone apparently went as far as bidding £180,000 ($290,000) for them!

Mick was always a sweet talker, so the new owner should definitely take notes on his word play!
