Naomi Campbell Spotted Using A Wheelchair And Walking In Crutches
British model Naomi Campbell has been spotted using a wheelchair and walking with crutches over the past month and according to Page Six its a result of being mugged and assaulted in Paris this past December.
Naomi was reportedly attacked and mugged on a Paris street while trying to hail a cab; the stunning supermodel was “knocked over and robbed” and suffered a torn ligament.
One source said, “It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out, and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone. She was attacked in the street as she hailed a cab, and robbed.
“Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up,” the source said.
Though we’re unsure what exactly the thugs stole from her, it’s believed they were seeking expensive jewelry she may have been wearing at the time.
The model’s spokesman and agent reportedly declined to comment.
