People Are Embracing Their Natural Lips With The #NoKylieJennerChallenge (Photos)

Until Kylie Jenner inspired the world to begin sucking on shot glasses, plush lips weren’t a fad.

Now, a new Instagram trend invites women with naturally voluminous pouts to share the mouths they’ve had all along, proving certain pop culture movements actually commoditize a quality many are already proud to possess.

Just like the big booty was beautiful before Vogue ever noticed, large lips have always been an asset.

However, some remember feeling embarrassed by the mouths they possessed.

When Kylie invested in lip fillers, the Internet lost its collective mind.

Her nude-lined mouth is actually a replica of those born with large lips.

The craze led many to try the #KylieJennerChallenge.

Using glasses, people created suction to mildly bruise their mouths and make their lips swell.

In short, it was a really bad idea.

Since Kylie admitted to purchasing her new look, the hysteria somewhat faded.

Women with mouths to be proud of have been posting their selfies to Instagram under a new hashtag.

It’s the #NoKylieJennerChallenge.

There’s no denying the drama of these mouths.

Angelina Jolie might have brought the large mouth to Hollywood…

…but these women really do it justice.

Using a pastel shade really makes the shape pop.

Each mouth is unique.

No lip fillers needed.

Kylie can keep her look.
