Fan Awkwardly Tells Niall 'No One Really Cares' About Him On Live Radio

Lay off Niall Horan, you guys. He's easily the Piglet of One Direction and he doesn't deserve to be embarrassed on the radio.

The former 1D member appeared on KIIS 1065's "The Kyle and Jackie O Show" to promote his first solo single, “This Town,” and one caller's claim Niall lacks a Canadian fanbase caused some awkward tension on-air.

When host Kyle Sandilands recommended a fan named Eve tell her fellow classmates she's “on the line with Niall right now,” insisting “they will totally lose their minds,” she admitted,

I live in Canada. No one really cares… anymore.

Eve cares. She even made a point to specify how hard “people suck” for not remaining Niall-o-philes (In-Niall-ators? CrocoNialls?).

Jackie O jumped in with an, “Oh, that's awkward,” and Kyle followed it up with a quick, “Sorry buddy… we would chop that out if we weren't live," because why not lean into this profound state of unease for a few brief seconds that last an emotional eternity?

YEAH, SORRY THAT HAPPENED, YA BIG EMBARRASSMENT.

Jackie suggested they “not make Niall feel bad about that,” and she's right. We should save that shade for Zayn: the Rabbit of One Direction.

Though Canada might not have time for Niall, fans online freaked after his surprise debut of "This Town," complete with accompanying music video, on Thursday morning.

One user called it a "masterpiece" while another just went with a GIF of James Corden crying because there are some emotions words cannot adequately explain.
