According to Deadline, writer Paul Attanasio (Donnie Brasco) has been hired by Universal to rewrite the script to the studio’s upcoming remake of Scarface.

This movie is being described as an updated version of the story that was told in Howard Hawks’ 1932 original version and Brian De Palma’s 1983 take on the material.

It will again focus on an immigrant that rises through the ranks of the criminal world in search of the American dream.

It’s not known what nationality this particular version of Scarface will focus on, but we wouldn’t expect it to include either an Italian or Cuban main character like the other two. We’ll have more on this project as it becomes available.

How Isaiah Austin’s Potential Led Him To A Different Successful Path Than The One He Imagined

Most YouTube “Hoopmixtape” videos feature songs like “Remember the Name” with synchronized beats to emphasize vicious slams or deadly crossovers. Tim Howard’s High School Yearbook Quote Perfectly Foreshadowed His World Cup Performance

Tim Howard’s performance yesterday, despite the US’ World Cup knockout round loss to Belgium, was nothing short of legendary. He was the proverbially immovable object blocking the irresistible force that […]
