Penelope Cruz and husband — “Skyfall” star Javier Bardem — are once again expecting a child. Cruz says that she is “tremendously happy and excited” about having a second child on the way.

Cruz’s pregnancy will not allow her to attend the Goya Awards in Madrid on the 17th of February.

Back in June of 2011, Cruz told Vogue that motherhood is “a revolutionary experience. That’s the best way I can describe it… when you see that face, you are transformed forever.” Their 2-year-old son Leo is looking forward to having a playmate.

Monica Cruz, Cruz’s younger sister, announced earlier in January that she is expecting her first child via an anonymous sperm donor.
