Prince George Losing It Over Bubbles Is Your New Happiness Goals

I have to say, as an American, the obsession with the royal family is not one I totally understood.

First of all, it's just wild people get to be born into such a family and it's like "Congrats, you won the lottery, you're going to be king." Meanwhile, I was born on the side of a hill.

That said, after getting to witness the royal family grow myself, as an adult, I totally get it.

Witnessing Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, get married felt like a gosh darn fairy tale.

When they welcomed their son, Prince George, to their family I felt happy for them. Then they welcomed their daughter, Princess Charlotte, and I nearly clutched my pearls in pure joy.

I don't understand why I feel this way but behold this:

The family is currently touring Canada and stopped at a garden party for military families in Carcross, British Columbia on Thursday.

The prince and princess played with other children, went for pony rides and lost their mind over bubbles and balloons.

How is it possible to feel this much joy?

George, 3, even blew bubbles for his 16-month-old sister to enjoy.

This is Princess Charlotte's first royal tour.

The family will leave Canada on Saturday, they were visiting the country on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

We wonder... will we ever experience such joie de vivre again? Or have our dark souls finally sucked the last ounce of joy that a nice balloon or a good bubble would bring our carefree spirits?

Regardless, it looked like the royal family had an excellent time at the event!
