The pictures, published by TMZ have no doubt caused a headache for the royals but despite the embarrassing incident his father, Prince Charles is said to be standing by his son and has told his youngest son he shouldn’t make a public apology because, he has “done nothing wrong.”
Prince Harry was not at the Paralympic Opening Ceremony as scheduled and following the scandal is reportedly keeping a low profile.
The future king was known as quite the party prince in his day and reportedly “understands” the 27 year-old’s predicament when it comes to juggling a private and public life.
A source told RadarOnline: “Of all the royal family, Charles was the most accepting of Harry’s behaviour.
“In his younger years he was just as much a playboy as Harry is now, so he’s more understanding when it comes to this sort of thing.”
“While he told Harry to be a little more responsible, he didn’t chastise him because he didn’t think he did anything wrong,” the insider added.
Reportedly Charles has told his son to concentrate on his Army career. The Prince is rumoured to be heading out on active duty soon and may return to Afghanistan for his second tour in the near future.
