The numbers stemming from PSY’s “Gangnam Style” never cease to amaze us, and today Google has revealed that the viral video has generated over $8 million in ad revenues via YouTube since it’s release last summer.

Setting the record for “Most Likes on YouTube” and becoming the most-watched video ever on YouTube,’Gangnam Style’ has also generated revenue through downloads and sync deals, bringing in some major dollars for the Korean pop star.

With “Gangnam Style” totaling nearly 1.23 billion views, we’ve calculated that the video has earned $6.50 for every 1000 streams.

Not too shabby!
