Report: Jennifer Lopez Quits American Idol

Jennifer Lopez revealed she will not be returning to the next season of American Idol. The “Dance Again” singer called in to the Ryan Seacrest Show to break the news telling Ryan, “I honestly feel like the time has come that I get back to doing the other things that I do” adding “something’s got to give.”

Jennifer is currently on her world tour with Enrique Iglesias and has other projects lined up when the tour wraps. She ended her conversation with Seacrest saying “we had a good run.”

That’s quite an understatement, as she reportedly made 12 million last season and revamped her career into full gear being one of the most talked about celebrities in 2012.
