Ric Flair’s Wife Sues For Divorce
Ric Flair’s wife has sued the professional wrestling icon for divorce, according to a report from the website TMZ.
Citing documents filed in Mecklenburg County, TMZ says Jacqueline Baines Beems claimed Flair “has had numerous intimiate relationships with other women during the parties’ marriage, to the embarrassment and humiliation of wife.”
The two were married in 2009. It was Ric Flair’s fourth marriage.
TMZ also reports Beems complained in the documents that Ric Flair has failed to pay the $4,000 monthly spousal support he promised in what she says was a separation agreement reached in October.
The couple’s marriage has been rocky.
Flair filed an incident report with Charlotte-Mecklenburg police in February 2010, saying his wife assaulted him at their home. He filed another report in June 2012, saying he once again was assaulted by Beems. No charges were filed in those cases.
Flair, 63, is still making more than $1 million a year, according to TMZ’s story.
