Rihanna Is A ‘Big Fat Zero As A Role Model,’ According To Daily Beast
Entertainment

Daily Beast editor Tina Brown called Rihanna “a big fat zero as a role model for girls” on twitter today because the singer stood in court next to Chris Brown’s mother as her boyfriend awaited to hear if the judge approved the community service he had to fulfill for brutally assaulting her in 2009.

Brown was asked to repeat the 180 days of service that he claimed he completed over the past few years.

To be fair, Rihanna never really said she was trying be a role model for anybody.

Though it is quite disgraceful that she is still with Brown after all he did to her. Ever since it became known that Rihanna had indeed taken the woman-beater back as her boyfriend, she lost a great deal of fans and respect because anyone stupid enough to continue dating someone who beat them up once is, well, stupid.

Looks like the way Rihanna sees it, she doesn’t want to be criticized for anything she does besides singing and performing. If only it were that simple.

Look for him on "Real Time with Bill Maher," where he regularly appears in his most precious fantasies.

‘Forrest Gump’ As Directed By Wes Anderson Is Perfect (Video)

Wes Anderson, he’s so hot right now. It seems the new wave of parodies for the time being is everything Wes Anderson (don’t worry, “Frozen” parodies aren’t going anywhere). We saw the “Zoolander” scene a few days ago inspired by Anderson, and a few weeks before that we saw a beautiful compilation of his symmetry. Now, […]

Singularity At The Cinema: ‘Transcendence,’ ‘Her’ And Fighting Against The Future

“Transcendence” isn’t a very good movie. It has the setup to be a thought-provoking, sci-fi, action flick, without any real action or thought of which to speak. It’s essentially the last 20 minutes of “Her,” spread glacially over a two-hour-and-twenty-minute run time. The biggest problem with “Transcendence,” however, is that it foregrounds and obsesses over its technology at the […]

According to 9to5mac, the poster claims that the photo was taken inside an iPhone factory. The screen seems much larger than the iPhone 5, held next to it, which suggests that […]

Hawaii Legislators Say Cops Can Get Handjobs And Blowjobs From Hookers, But No Sex

Last week, Hawaii police appealed to maintain a law that allows undercover officers to have sex with prostitutes, an exemption that was challenged due to the room it leaves for abuse. Leading the effort to have the exemption removed is Senator Clayton Hee, who met with representatives from the Honolulu Police Department last Tuesday. The […]

If Used Correctly, Your Vulnerability Can Actually Be Your Strongest Asset

“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness.” – Dr. Brené Brown Vulnerability. Even the sight of this word written down can make our stomachs twist, brows sweat and heart rates skyrocket. We pride ourselves on “not even going there…” and think that by protecting […]
