She is quite the jet-setter, notorious for her fast paced, fash-packed lifestyle. So it comes as no surprise than when Rihanna flew in to strut her stuff on the catwalk at the legendary Victoria’s Secret Show, the stylists didn’t have time on their side.

In fact, it has been revealed that the 24-year-old’s show costume was created just hours before the big event itself was about to start.

Speaking to Vogue.co.uk, costume designer Adam Selman said: ‘I’d been working on something for a while, but it didn’t look right when she tried it on two and a half hours before the show.

‘So I ran, literally ran, back to my office from the venue. I had my assistants on the phone telling them to run out and buy fabric – it was a bit of a challenge, but we did it.

‘I got to her minutes before everything kicked off, she whipped it on and threw a jumper round her waist and stepped out. She has the confidence to do that – she killed it.’

The artist burst onto the runway minutes later in the girly pink lace number complete with pink ankle boots and an eye-catching vintage necklace to sing her new songs, Diamonds and Fresh Off The Runway.

She later changed into a stunning black corset gown that was cut to the thigh to show off her suspender and paired with long lace gloves, boots, an ostentatious pearl choker and matching pearl rummed sunglasses.

Rihanna’s fashion choices are followed almost as closely as her turbulent love life, with each outrageous outfit choice being copied worldwide by her legions of fans and her 777 tour stylist recently described her style as ‘fearless’.
