Ryan Gosling recently flipped out on a photographer after the guy called his girlfriend, Eva Mendes, “baby”.

Gosling and Mendes are currently promoting their new film “Beyond The Pines” and were spotted on Friday at the Bowery Hotel in New York. According to sources, a NY fashion photographer saw Mendes who he had recently worked with and excitedly yelled at her “Hey baby!” which didn’t go over to well with Gosling.

Gosling tore the guy a new one and even got into his face. Sources say:

“Ryan completely flipped out, and it got heated. Ryan got in the guy’s face and said, ‘Who are you calling baby?’ Eva had to jump in and calm everyone down before it came to fisticuffs. Ryan then made nice and shook the guy’s hand.”

After that, the couple who have been quietly dating ever since they first met on set of “Beyond The Pines” distanced themselves from each other because Eva was clearly mad at Ryan.

Did Ryan Gosling do the right thing by yelling at the photographer or was he too hot-headed?
