If you were being somewhat attentive during Sunday’s Super Bowl game between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, you probably noticed that one member of the Baltimore squad — and one Oscar-winning actress — experienced a full circle moment!

Sandra Bullock was at the Superdome in New Orleans with her 3-year-old adopted son Louis to cheer on Baltimore Ravens right tackle Michael Oher — who would go on to win his first Super Bowl ring that night.

Bullock’s son was rocking an Oher jersey in support of the player whose life story inspired the 2009 biopic “The Blind Side.”

Sandra Bullock played Leigh Anne Tuohy, the woman who adopted Oher and helped raise him to be the Superbowl champion he is today!

Just a few weeks after her Oscar win, Sandra had her very own “Blind Side”-like moment when she adopted her son Louis.

Why ‘Living The Dream’ Might Not Be Everything It’s Cracked Up To Be

You’ve packed your entire life into your parents’ car or moving van (you probably had to sell your car in order to afford the deposit on your new, tiny apartment), and you’re ready to tackle the “big city” on your own. Whatever city it is, you’ve probably been yearning to move there for as long […]

Somewhere, Someone Is Still Using 1-800-COLLECT And Paying Way Too Much For It

Anyone who lived through the 1990s remembers 1-800-COLLECT, the service that charged pay phone users moderate rates as opposed to whatever the company that owned the phone was charging. Pay phones have obviously become obsolete in the world of cell phones but as a user of tech forum Ars Technica recently discovered, enough people still […]

The Isaiah Austin Story: As The NBA Moves Forward, The NFL Is Falling Behind

The NBA is beginning to look like the virtuous older brother of the sports world. NBA commissioner Adam Silver has reached out to Isaiah Austin, the Baylor center whose NBA dreams were dashed by a recent diagnosis of Marfan syndrome, and offered him a full-time job upon graduation. The heart-warming gesture is telling of the […]
