Police launched an investigation when Justin Bieber allegedly punched a photographer in Calabasas earlier this week. As part of the investigation, police want to interview Bieber’s girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

“We want to interview everybody and anybody connected with this investigation,” sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told the New York Daily News.

Lieutenant Robert Wiard said that the photographer called 911 complaining of chest pain after his run-in with the Biebs. The fight broke out when the paparazzo tried to take pictures of Bieber and Gomez after they left a movie theater.

Wiard also confirmed that the photographer was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and then released.

They hope to talk to the power couple because the two left before police arrived at the scene.

Bieber thanked his fans for all their support, tweeting:

we came up from the bottom TOGETHER. every step we were doubted. I doubted…but you were always there … we work hard. we grind it out. nothing is stopping us.

This wasn’t Bieber’s first public battle. Last year, Bieber was accused of fathering a fan’s child. However, the paternity suit was dropped. Bieber took a paternity test to show his innocence to his fans. “I didn’t have to do it, I did it because I wanted to,” he said. “I wanted everything to be out in the open.”

When Bieber first became a popular musician, he said he would never tarnish his reputation. But he should never say never…

Singularity At The Cinema: ‘Transcendence,’ ‘Her’ And Fighting Against The Future

“Transcendence” isn’t a very good movie. It has the setup to be a thought-provoking, sci-fi, action flick, without any real action or thought of which to speak. It’s essentially the last 20 minutes of “Her,” spread glacially over a two-hour-and-twenty-minute run time. The biggest problem with “Transcendence,” however, is that it foregrounds and obsesses over its technology at the […]

A 20-Something’s Guide To Understanding The 401(k)

In 1980, Ted Benna, a benefits consultant, interpreted Section 401(k) of the Internal Revenue Code as a provision for highly compensated employees — read: executives and upper management — to electively defer their compensation to a later time to presumably be in a lower tax bracket. Ever since then, employers have pounced on the opportunity […]
