Sheryl Crow Announces She Has A Brain Tumor
Sheryl Crow just revealed that she has a brain tumor, but insisted that there is no reason to worry.
The singer, 50, spoke to the Las Vegas Review Journal:
I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor … but it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it.
Last month, Crow forgot the lyrics to her song in Florida. Laughing it off, the singer exclaimed, “I’m 50 what can I say! My brain has gone to s**t!” Perhaps the incident was triggered by her tumor.
Crow’s tumor is called a meningioma – a growth that develops from the protective linings of the brain and spinal cord.
Crow’s rep said that the condition is very common and that the singer will continue performing.
The star has had other scares. In 2006, Crow successfully battled breast cancer.
