It’s always nerve racking meeting your new colleagues for the first time. But when Shia LeBeouf met his new co-star Stacy Martin it was surely a little awkward.

Forget the politics of sharing an office cubicle – the pair are set to co-star in a controversial new movie, Nymphomania, which will feature real sex scenes.

But that did not seem to bother Transformers star Shia LebBeouf as he posed next to the beautiful but unknown actress ahead of shooting in Cologne, Germany.

Martin plays a young version of the film’s titular character in the Lars Von Trier film. A bevy of big names have agreed to feature in the two film series despite its controversial subject matter.

The film is a character study of a self-diagnosed 50-year-old sex addict, who is played by Charlotte Gainsbourg. Stellan Skarsgård comes across her character Joe on a cold winter’s night lying beaten up in an alley.

He takes her home and cares for her wounds while she recounts the story of her life in eight separate racy chapters. However it does not sound as if Shia will be reluctant about stripping off for the cameras.

He has revealed: ‘I sent him [the director] videotapes of me and my girlfriend having sex and that’s how I got the job.

‘I don’t know what it’s gonna be until I get out there.

‘I know he’s a very dangerous director; I know we’re trying to do something different. It’s not your typical film.’

Controversial cinema genius Von Trier is planning to shoot two versions of the movie, one a pornographic cut, and the other a soft core edition, where different camera angles would be used, as well as blurring of body parts.

Talking about the film, Von Trier’s producing partner Peter Aalbæk told The Guardian: ‘Lars wants to see the sexual arousement of a girl [on screen].’

Interview With The Vampire star Christian Slater is appearing as the main character’s father, and said he has been enjoying the director’s company.

He said: ‘Lars is a complete gentleman. It’s great to be on a set with someone who has such a loyal and talented team.

‘The majority of his crew are people he has worked with over the past 20 years.

‘They love him and I understand why. It’s lovely as an actor to get opportunities a few times in your career to work on a truly special project with a director and leader who really understands his material and is able to convey what he wants so concisely.’

Prankster Explains Hobby Lobby Controversy By Trolling Local Hobby Lobby Store (Video)

Two weeks ago, the Supreme Court decided the now-historic Hobby Lobby case, ruling that privately-held, for-profit corporations didn’t need to abide by the contraception mandate of the Affordable Care Act if the mandate offended their “sincerely held” religious beliefs. As a result of this decision, religiously conservative companies like Hobby Lobby and Contestoga Wood no […]
