It’s just what the Palace feared: The Afghan Taliban said Monday it’s doing everything in its power to try to kidnap or assassinate Prince Harry, who arrived in Afghanistan last week for his second tour of duty in the war-torn country.

Fresh off his infamous naked Vegas romp, the 27-year-old royal arrived in Afghanistan last Friday for a four-month combat tour, which will see him piloting Apache attack helicopters.

Harry — known as Captain Wales by his fellow soldiers — will be based out of Camp Bastion in the Helmand province, where he will be on the front line in the NATO-led war against Taliban insurgents.

“We are using all our strength to get rid of him, either by killing or kidnapping,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location Monday.

“We have informed our commanders in Helmand to do whatever they can to eliminate him,” Mujahid added, declining to go into detail on what he dubbed the “Harry operations”.

This is Harry’s second tour of duty to Afghanistan; he first served in Afghanistan in 2008 as an on-ground air controller, but his tour was cut short when word broke of his location and therefore compromised his security.

Is The Fifth Installment Of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Pushing It, Or Just Enough?

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies are nothing short of a cinematic cultural landmark. Taking inspiration from the mildew-smelling Disneyland ride, the films have monopolized the modern pirate movie market. One of the franchise’s primary reason for success is thanks to the brilliance of Johnny Depp. Depp has held some pretty iconic roles, from Edward Scissorhands to […]

Video Showing You Everything From Your Childhood Will Leave You Oozing Nostalgia

It seems that everything we held near and dear as kids is now being turned into a movie. There’s Michael Bay’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie. There’s Michael Bay’s “Transformers.” There’s “The Lego Movie.” And now Wil Wheaton brings us “Literally Everything Else From Your Childhood: The Movie.” Obviously, this isn’t a real movie, but […]

Forget A Best Man Speech, This Guy Performed A Hilarious Rap Instead (Video)

Most best man speeches follow a pretty basic formula: you can expect a funny anecdote about a time the groom was irresponsible, at least three instances of the phrase “But really…” and a comment about how he’s someone else’s problem now (with obligatory laughter from the audience). When Spencer Loveridge was tasked with delivering a […]

Money Man: Basketball Pays LeBron Peanuts Compared To His Mega Endorsement Deals

LeBron James is getting robbed by the NBA. With his earning potential capped by league rules, basketball’s biggest star has to settle for a salary that massively underrates his value to the league. Let’s just put things in perspective. During the 1996-97 season, a near-retirement Michael Jordan earned a $30 million salary, playing for the Chicago […]

The Three Little Girls With Cancer In Viral Photo Are Now All In Remission

This picture of three young girls bald from chemotherapy and wearing frilly dresses and pearls went viral on the Internet earlier this year. The girls, 3-year-old Rylie Hughey, 6-year-old Rheann Franklin, and 4-year-old Ainsley Peters, didn’t know each other when Scantling Photography in Oklahoma snapped their photo, but they had one thing in common: They […]

This 3-Minute Sneak Peak At ‘Sharknado 2′ Proves Sequels Can Top Their Originals (Video)

“Sharknado 2,” the sequel to “Sharknado,” better known as the most ridiculous thing to ever hit television, is finally coming. This sneak peek into “Sharknado 2: The Second One” doesn’t disappoint. It comes equipped with three full minutes of Subway rides, computerized sharks, whose fakeness is (somewhat) ignorable, and screaming. Lots and lots of screaming. […]
