The comediennes – who happen to be close friends – performed so well together at the Emmys last month they’ve been handed the Golden Globes microphone.

The former Saturday Night Live co-stars have been chosen to co-host the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, which will take place on January 13, NBC announced on Monday.

The two met in 1993 when they were both studying improv at Second City and hit it off instantly.

They also believe in charities with a cause – Tina and Amy both attended Comedy Central’s ‘Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together For Autism Programs’ in New York City on October 13.

Controversial comedian Ricky Gervais hosted in 2010, 2011 and 2012 but insisted he would not return for a fourth stint.

Why It Still Doesn’t Matter Whether Or Not Tony Soprano Lived

When “The Sopranos” ended in 2007 on a now-famous shot of its patriarch, Tony Soprano, sitting in a diner with his family, viewers cried foul. They were horrified by the ambiguity; they wanted to know if he lived, died or enjoyed drunkenly singing “Don’t Stop Believin’” as much as they did. The debate was resurrected […]

TBT: 50 Years Ago Today, Bob Dylan Met The Beatles And Introduced Them To Weed

Thank you, Bob Dylan, for another amazing contribution to society. Today is the 50th anniversary of the day that changed music history. If People Keep Killing Them For Ivory, Elephants Could Be Extinct In 6 Years

Ivory is a luxurious good that’s made into hair pins, jewelry, chopsticks and more — however, it’s leading to the extinction of elephants. Over 35,000 elephants in Africa were killed for their ivory in 2013. Ivory is often crafted into precious gift items and exported to other countries, used for trading in places like Hong […]

Why It’s Okay For This Generation To Job-Hop In Today’s Economy

I had nine different jobs by the time I was 23. I didn’t know if I was doing something wrong and I could not stand the stigma that surrounds being a Millennial job hopper. I never left a job because I was lazy, gave up or would rather spend more time socializing and partying; I left […]

Despite the weirdness, there is more than enough cause to celebrate: […]
