Busy Philipps Thought Creepy Uber Driver And His Friend Were Going To Kill Her

I don't want to talk any ish about rideshares, because I'm terrified of driving in LA and I depend on it, but everyone has had at least one creepy experience with Uber, right?

Enough for most of us to switch to Lyft, at least.

Philipps sent out an Instagram story about the "craziest thing" that just happened to her when she was trying to get home early Sunday morning.

Philipps and her husband Marc Silverstein felt weird as soon as they got into her Uber.

Philipps said on her Instagram story, while laughing nervously and shaking,

I said to my husband, 'Oh, that guy was weird. Are you sure he's not going to kill us?' And then from the fucking way back, a voice is like, 'I promise that won't happen,' and there was just like a fucking crazy, scary dude in way back of this Uber. Basically I was like, 'I will not be killed tonight!' and I jumped out and started screaming at this freaking creepy Uber driver. I was like, 'This is not happening. I will not be killed tonight.'

UUUUUH, A RANDO DUDE IN THE THIRD ROW OF AN UBER VAN?! I WOULD LITERALLY PEE MYSELF.

She went on to say,

I'm not trying to be alarmist or whatever, but I definitely feel like those guys were trying to murder me tonight. I legitimately feel that way, and it was really scary.

Philipps and Silverstein left the Uber, and Silverstein admits it was the "weirdest thing that has ever happened to [him.]"

But wouldn't it be funny if Philipps accidentally ordered an UberPool (where you share rides with other customers going in the same direction as you for a cheaper price) instead of a regular Uber?

That's probably not the case, and we're incredibly happy Busy and her husband made it home safely.

Also, I just realized how funny of a name "Busy" is... Like if someone introduces themselves to her and she responds, "I'm Busy," they would think she was so rude and too busy to talk to them.
