Rihanna is opening up about Chris Brown… again. This time it’s to Oprah in an interview that will air this Sunday on the OWN network.

“I lost my best friend,” she says, while tearing up. “Everything I knew switched … switched in a night and I couldn’t control that. It was a weird, confusing space to be in … because as angry as I was, as angry and hurt and betrayed, I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help, and who’s going to help him?

Nobody’s going to say he needs help. Everybody’s going to say he’s a monster without looking at the source. And I was more concerned about him.”

3 Ways To Change Your Short-Term Mindset Into Long-Term Goals

Walking down the street, you can easily observe countless people, nervously carrying along, with their coffees in hand (or cigarette or beer can, or whatever), jolting about, with unclear focuses. 6 Stupid Fears That Will Only Stop You From Realizing Your Dreams

There’s a person you want to be. A person who will fulfill your dreams instead of a person who just sits, watching dreams fly by while surfing through channels, trying to drown out reality. Not All It’s Carved Up To Be: Pumpkins On Instagram Vs. In Real Life

If this October has taught me anything, it’s that the Internet is filled with pictures of pumpkin carvings that make you question your worth as an individual. Just like people on Instagram only upload pictures of themselves when they look attractive, pumpkin carvers love bragging about just how good the are at Jack-O-Lanterning because people […]

5 Non-English Majors That Will Make You A Better Writer

Like many hopeful writers, I majored in English. I brushed off the comments about the degree’s lack of marketability and ignored people who asked if I planned to “just be an English teacher.” It was trying at times, especially when it made me forget what “pleasure reading” even meant, but I don’t regret my degree […]

It’s October, which means that whatever screen you view things on is about to be filled with picture after picture of pumpkins carved by people who spent way too much time mastering a skill that’s only useful for a couple of weeks every year. In the past, you could carve a few triangles and a […]
