‘We ARE Getting Married’: Britney Spears Fires Back At False Claims

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have been hit by tabloid claims they have called off their wedding – but a spokesman for singer stated on Friday there is no truth to the rumors. The 30-year-old X Factor judge and Trawick announced their engagement back in December last year.

They have yet to announce a date for their big day, although there has been talk of a winter wedding. A couple of American publications published claims this week that all is not well between the pair, with one website reporting the wedding has been postponed.

RadarOnline quoted a source as saying Britney and Jason, 40, had planned to marry at the end of December but they have been ‘fighting non-stop’.

And Us Weekly quoted an insider as saying: ‘The romance has gone… I’d be shocked if they got married.’

Britney’s publicist Jeff Raymond, however, has brushed off the reports as ‘desperate’ – insisting the claims are untrue. Mr Raymond did not give details of when the wedding would take place.
