It’s crazy to think that some of the most popular and influential people who we once idolized can be forgotten so quickly.

And as sad as it is, that’s just how the culture of media works. It’s always onto the next trend and the next celebrity.

However that is not to say that these people have been completely forgotten as we take a look into some of our favorite media figures and find out where they are today.

10. Tom from Myspace

We all remember Tom the creator and our first friend on the social media giant, Myspace. His profile picture of him sitting next to a dry erase board will surely bring you some nostalgia of Top 8 friends and profile music. Tom has since left Myspace, with the sudden emergence of Facebook, and currently works on real estate in Las Vegas.

9. Dos Equis Man

Although the Dos Equis man does not go too far back in our memories, he is still someone who remains relatively mysterious and unknown. From what we know, he is just an ordinary New Yorker who lives on a houseboat with his wife. His wife also serves as his agent who booked him the gig as the Dos Equis man.

8. Jamie Kennedy

How could anyone not remember Jamie Kennedy? Malibu’s Most Wanted was perhaps one of the most influential movies for Generation-Y and to this day remains to be a timeless classic. But ever since then we haven’t seen too much of Jamie. He was dating Jennifer Love Hewitt and was reportedly engaged, but they soon broke it off. Today Jamie is most active in California’s tourism campaign and shooting shitty films hoping to have another hit. We’re praying for a MMW sequel.

7. Dave Chappelle

Perhaps the funniest man in the world at one time, Dave Chappelle has brought laughter through many skits on his sketch comedy show such as Rick James, The Blind Racist and The Mad Real World. As we all know, he was once offered $50 million for another season of Chappelle’s Show, but he buckled and fled to Africa after not accepting the money or the continuation of his show. Today Dave lives a simple life with his wife and two sons in Yellow Springs, Ohio. He has slowly started to return to some stand up appearances and we can only pray that he soon makes his way back to network television.

6. Lou Bega

Who can forget the classis 90′s jam Mambo No. 5. by Lou Bega. was the shit back then. But now he’s a distant memory. After his success in the US he became a hit in Germany briefly. He was playing a few shows up until 2011 but currently has nothing scheduled for this year. Yeah, he’s gone.

5. Monica Lewinsky

The blow job heard around the world. Lewinsky gives by far the world’s most famous blow jobs. Her succubus ways landed her brief notoriety in the 90′s after the Bill Clinton scandal. Since then she has packed on the pounds and actually had to leave the states as it was t0o difficult for her to live life in America. She got her master’s degree in social psychology from the London School of Economics and is said to be very depressed.

4. Stephen Coletti (Laguna Beach)

Stephen from Laguna beach was the man. Not only was he banging LC, but he was also banging Kristen at the same damn time. Since then he starred in the hit television show One Tree Hill as the recurring character Chase Adams.

3. Frankie Muniz

Malcolm! From Malcolm in the Middle! We all grew up watching this show and although he always looked weird we loved him dearly! Since then Mr. Muniz has been into producing music, race car driving and he got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Elycia Marie, owner of Arcadia Vintage. He’s still bank rolling off of residuals, this man will be good for at least another 5 years.

2. Kel Mitchell

Who loves orange soda? Kel loves orange soda and he apparently still does to this day. Kel Mitchell has been starring in small films since and was married for six years until a divorce in 2005. During that time, he had two children- a daughter, Allure and a son, Lyric. He remarried on January 8, 2012 to rapper Asia Lee, and remains to be a devout Christian.

1. Summer Sanders (Figure it Out)

We all remember the beautiful Summer Sanders from the hit Nickelodeon game show Figure it Out. Not only was it an amazing show where celebrities were slimed as a result of talentless kid’s talents, but it had a smoking hot host in Summer Sanders. She has since been swimming competitively and works with UNICEF. We knew she would do great things.

How ‘Blackfish’ Is To SeaWorld What ‘Supersize Me’ Was To McDonald’s

SeaWorld has announced plans to expand the size of the tanks for killer whales at three parks. The parks claim this expansion was a long-term plan and has nothing to do with “Blackfish,” the documentary that has turned anyone with a Netflix account into a semi-informed, half-willing whale activist. “Blackfish” used the life of the killer […]
