Zooey Deschanel Is Officially Divorced
It’s over, Zooey Deschanel and her husband Ben Gibbard of Death Cab are finally divorced as all men of the world rejoice.
Zooey filed for divorce in January, blaming the split on “irreconcilable differences,” which means the two just couldn’t get along and it is the same excuse every other celebrity uses.
She and Gibbard were married in 2009 and have no kids, so the divorce won’t be too messy, though it took nearly a year as a judge signed off on the divorce decree on December 12th.
For two people who couldn’t get along the interesting thing about this divorce is that according to the divorce documents, both Zooey and Ben waved their rights to spousal support.
Both Deschanel and Gibbard are doing well financially so there was no need to get spousal support, though it is standard procedure. Hopefully the two we will be happier apart than they were together.
We are going to try to make a move on Zooey Deschanel only because she was way too hot in 500 Days Of Summer.
