Here's What Damian From 'Mean Girls' Looks Like Today

It's been over 12 years since the cinematic masterpiece "Mean Girls" first blessed us with its existence.

That means it's been more than a decade since Glen Coco got four candy canes from his Secret Santa at North Shore High School. You're old, Glen Coco!

That means we're all old, actually.

But I'd like to focus on one person in particular for that aging thing, and that's the guy who gave Glenn Coco those candy canes, AKA Damian, AKA actor Daniel Franzese.

On Monday, the 38-year-old former "Mean Girls" actor announced he was engaged to his longtime boyfriend, Joseph Bradley Phillips.

So I guess that means he was actually the perfect amount of gay to function. Take that, Regina George!

The couple got engaged in a Starbucks, which is oddly romantic.

Well, I can't think of a better way to congratulate Daniel on his upcoming life of happiness than by scrutinizing how the inevitable passage of time has changed his face! Can you?

(Seriously, congratulations, you guys, your love looks beautiful. I'm sorry my engagement present is the worst. At least it's not a gift card?)

Let's dive in.

So, we all remember Damian, arguably the best character in"Mean Girls."

Well, as I've said, his name is Daniel Franzese. He was 26 at the time of the film.

Now, Daniel is 38. This is what he looks like:

Just kidding, that's a Snapchat face swap, he hasn't aged THAT much. OK, here's what he looks now, for real:

OH MY GOD! HE HAS A BEARD! Isn't it crazy how people get older and sometimes grow facial hair?

Here he is with a beard and a bottle of alcohol.

And here he is with a beard and actor Danny Glover.

Now look at him with a beard catching this Pikachu in Pokémon Go.

If there's one thing I think we can all agree on, it's Damian has a beard now.

Other, non-beard related things to note: He and his fiancé are really adorable together.

And he totally doesn't mind if you bring up the "Mean Girls" thing.

Daniel, congratulations on your engagement. May your other engagement presents be a million times better than mine.
