This Disney Princess Is Getting Her Own TV Show, And We Can't Wait

Anything that has to do with Disney Princesses gets me super excited.

I probably spend way more time than I'd like to admit watching Disney movies and singing along to the soundtracks. It's whatever, I have no shame. Mulan is my spirit animal, OK?

If you love Disney as much as I do, exciting news is coming your way. Freeform (the new name for ABC Family) just announced it's giving one of the Disney Princesses her own show. That's right, Freeform will create an even more awesome version of a classic tale to make all of your Disney dreams come true.

Now, unfortunately for me, the princess isn't Mulan. BUT, GUESS WHOM IT IS.

OK, I'LL TELL YOU. It's Sleeping Beauty! The new show will be based off the book "A Wicked Thing" by Rhiannon Thomas, which sets Sleeping Beauty, aka Princess Aurora, as a warrior who needs to save her kingdom when she wakes up from being asleep for 100 years.

Damn, girl, that's a lot of sleep.

It's unclear who will play Aurora, but I'm sure it'll be some badass lady.

Hopefully, the show will start soon because now I'm way too pumped to function. Disney = bae.
