Though the show was taken off the air nearly 10 years ago …Don Johnson is just receiving the compensation he says he deserved as a star on Nash Bridges.

Don Johnson received $19 million from Rysher Entertainment, after more than two years of court battles over profits for the series.

Johnson was originally awarded $50 million back in 2010, but in October the California Court of Appeals cut the award to $15 million.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Johnson has signed an acknowledgement that he is content with the $19 million, which Rysher wired to his production company at the end of January.

Johnson sued Rysher, claiming his 1995 contract entitled him to half-ownership of the series if it lasted at least 66 episodes. Nash Bridges was on air from 1996 to 2001, and aired 122 episodes.

Rysher is owned by Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner’s 2929 Entertainment.

Why It Still Doesn’t Matter Whether Or Not Tony Soprano Lived

When “The Sopranos” ended in 2007 on a now-famous shot of its patriarch, Tony Soprano, sitting in a diner with his family, viewers cried foul. They were horrified by the ambiguity; they wanted to know if he lived, died or enjoyed drunkenly singing “Don’t Stop Believin’” as much as they did. The debate was resurrected […]

Intimacy is a tricky thing to navigate with a new partner. Wanting to jump straight into bed with someone is not a new concept by any means, especially in popular culture today. As young adults, we try to act so nonchalant about sleeping around, but it’s taking a toll on our minds. The more we […]

‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Opens Episode With Incredible Same-Sex Routine (Video)

Fox’s dance competition “So You Think You Can Dance” has finally come out of the closet. In its 11 seasons, “SYTYCD” has barely mentioned homosexuality. The dance couples are heterosexual, the on-stage romances are always straight and contestants never mention their own sexuality. But on yesterday’s Final Four episode, the competing dancers opened the show […]

Bisexual Woman Gets Hilarious Responses From Straight Guys On Tinder (Photos)

The spectrum of sexuality is fluid. Just ask Alfred Kinsey, the creator of the Kinsey scale, who claims that a person’s sexual preferences range from zero (exclusively heterosexual) to six (exclusively homosexual) and can be anything in between. Those who don’t fit “neatly” into a homosexual or heterosexual preference are humans, too — and it […]
