Ed Sheeran Just Got An Enormous Lion Tattoo Across His Chest

In an attempt to wear v-neck tees while perpetuating the illusion he has an unyielding thicket of auburn chest hair, Ed Sheeran recently had a massive lion's head tattooed across his chest.

The 24-year-old musician claims to have actually gotten the tattoo as a tribute to a stretch of sold-out shows he played at Wembley Stadium, where England's soccer team plays.

Sheeran posted a photo of the tattoo in progress to Instagram, captioning it,

Halfway and ouch.

The artist behind the “Thinking Out Loud” singer's new addition is Kevin Paul, who is also reportedly Harry Styles' go-to guy.

Sheeran thanked Paul for his patience via Twitter.

According to the Mirror, Paul thinks this lion is just the beginning.

He reportedly said,

Ed is nowhere near done. There are going to be even bigger tattoos in the next few months.

During the star's session, he spent some quality time with Paul's family.

Sheeran even took time out to play Legos because you don't get to be as successful as he is without learning to prioritize.

Fans responded with, as of this moment, 30,000 comments on Instagram and boy, reviews are MIXED.

Defending his decision, Sheeran tweeted about fan freakouts regarding his new look...
