Its always great to witness an act of pure kindness. If you’re ever worried about missing some, don’t worry, Ellen’s got you covered. Several weeks ago, Ellen interviewed a waitress who paid for the lunch of two police officers during the government shutdown.

Sarah, the waitress, wrote a note to the officers that read:

“Thanks to the gov shutdown the people like you that protect this country are not getting paid. However, I still am. Lunch is on me! Thank you for serving ladies! Have a good day! – Sarah”

During the interview, Ellen reimbursed Sarah for her kindness and wrote her a check for $10,000. This latest video shows that Ellen was not done rewarding Sarah.
