The Oscars are the perfect excuse to either throw a party, or go to one. Where better to watch the Oscars (other than at the actual Oscars) than at some of the best parties in New York City?

Here are three Oscar viewing options for you to consider tonight?

Brooklyn Winery: 213 N. 8th St. in Brooklyn

An air of sophistication to the proceedings with a viewing party in their atrium, complete with Oscar-themed sparkling cocktail specials and ballots available so that you may keep track of how many winners you’ve selected.

Humphrey in the Eventi Hotel: 851 6th Ave.

A massive 16-by-30-foot screen to show the red carpet and Academy Awards programs will be available. Join the restaurant’s Oscar pool by submitting your ballot by 4 p.m. on Sunday and enjoy one of the drink specials, like the $3 beers and $6 Oscar-themed cocktails.

Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden: 29-19 24th Ave.

This venue will be offering several dinner-for-two specials during their Oscars viewing party. Paired with either a bottle of champagne or a pitcher of Pilsner Urquell, the two-portion entrees of steak, trout, pork or chicken Schnitzel  ($40-$55) comes with homemade crepes for dessert.

Business, Man: Why Millennials Need To Care About The Stock Market

If you are anything like me when it comes to your finances, you probably have more than five finance-related apps, which is at least five more than your average Joe has. Chocolate Ramen Is Either The Best Or Worst Comfort Food Ever (Photos)

For some strange reason, someone created chocolate ramen noodles. It’s just as obscure as it sounds and it probably tastes weird, too. However, you know what they say — you should never judge a book by its cover! The book, in this case, is called Choc Noodle. According to Independent, UK-based chocolatier Paul A. Young teamed […]

There’s Now A Tumblr Dedicated To ‘Drunk’ J. Crew Models (Photos)

I owe my entire writing career to a single-topic Tumblr I started when I was bored during winter break in college. Since then, I’ve had a special place in my heart for any blog that makes a name for itself by doing one thing and doing it well. This week’s seemingly-random-but-also-kind-of-profound blog is Drunk J. […]
