Jackie Chan Confirms His Involvement In ‘The Expendables 3′

After turning down an appearance in the squeal to the newest action blockbuster movie series The Expendables 2 due to scheduling conflicts, Jackie Chan has confirmed that he will star in the franchise’s third installment, according to Yahoo.

During a recent press conference Chan had this to say about how this all came to be:

“Sly had invited me to be in Expendables 2 but I was too busy filming CZ12 and couldn’t make a commitment to the film. But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes.”

Chan has claimed in the past that he will be retiring from action movies soon, but with this news, plus his role in a few more upcoming action films, it seems like he just can’t stay away from the ever so thriving action genre.

It will be interesting to see how everything works out with The Expendables 3 film with the addition of Chan, as the cast is already a who’s who of action stars of the last 30 years. Who else could be added to this third installment?
