With the hype around “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” growing, it’s only natural that some creative soul on the Internet would turn the franchise into a unique artistic endeavor.

This amazing drawing uploaded to 9gag depicts minions from “Despicable Me”  as ninjas Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Donatello. Those expressions, those costumes, those skin tones —  it’s perfect.

It’s so well-drawn. I wish I could read the signature on the bottom right to give this incredible artist the credit he or she deserves.

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, check out the trailer.

Alexia LaFata

Alexia is a Writer for Elite Daily and one of the most inquisitive people you will ever meet. Currently a senior at Boston College, Alexia is really bad at movies (except documentaries because she obsessively watches those), controlling her portion sizes, being appropriately affectionate towards animals, tweeting, and hiding her feelings. She's a classic ENFJ who was once described as "painfully enthusiastic" -- and is still mulling over it. You can e-mail her at alafata@elitedaily.com or check out more of her writing at http://alexialafata.com. Or do both.
