Everywhere you go, you’ll hear about how good or bad “The Wolf of Wall Street” was. Despite fairly positive critical reviews, there will always be someone who doesn’t like it.

One such man is the actual prosecutor of Jordan Belfort, whom Leonardo DiCaprio depicts in the fast-paced and darkly funny movie. Joel Cohen, a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, explains how the Martin Scorsese movie romanticizes a truly terrible human being.

He emphasizes the problem with making such a criminal look good in the public light, stressing that Hollywood is misleading the public.

New York City is a truly special place: Where else can you see gorgeous skyscrapers with homeless people camped out underneath?
