Hailey Baldwin Defends Kendall Jenner And Gigi Hadid's Supermodel Status

Man, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid can't catch a break.

The BFF duo has been getting a lot of hate from supermodel Stephanie Seymour, who thinks the models aren't deserving of the "supermodel" title.

Not only did Kendall defend herself and Gigi in a blog post, but Tyra Banks also jumped to their defense.

The former model and TV host wrote a statement highlighting what it means to be a model and praised Kendall and Gigi for their hard work. YOU HEAR THAT, SEYMOUR? Tyra's got KenGi's back.

Now, Hailey Baldwin is stepping in and sharing her opinion on the matter. Like Kendall and Gigi, Hailey was born into a family with "celebrity status" before she became a model.

PeopleStyle sat down with the 19-year-old to talk about the "model war." Hailey commented,

That was never said about me, but I think for [Jenner and Hadid], the truth of the matter is it's a new day and age.

PREACH IT, BALDY. She added,

No one is trying to disrespect the models from that decade and era, but they are the new faces of the modeling generation along with Karlie Kloss and other big supermodels. So, unfortunately, people can say what they want but they're still gonna step on the same runways as any other big supermodel this day and age.
