Sarah Paulson can pretty much do no wrong. She's an Emmy award-winning actress, she takes on unique and interesting roles, her style is impeccable, and she's even admitted to being a Real Housewives super fan. How could you not love this woman? The versatile actress keeps relatively private when it comes to her relationships, though the AHS: Cult star has opened up a little about her personal life in the past. She spoke to The New York Times in 2016, saying, “What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor.” Who is Sarah Paulson's girlfriend? You probably recognize Holland Taylor from more than a few beloved film and TV projects.

Holland Taylor is incredibly accomplished when it comes to her work on stage and on screen. One of her most notable roles was probably playing Charlie and Alan's mom on Two and a Half Men. She also played Judge Roberta Kittleson on The Practice, which earned her a 1999 Supporting Actress Actress in a Drama Emmy. She's been nominated a combined six times thanks to The Practice, Two and a Half Men, and AMC's The Lot. Sarah has six nominations and one win, but hey, who's counting?

As far as movies go, Taylor has more than a few memorable moments on the big screen. Her resume is filled with dozens of fantastic films, like Romancing the Stone, To Die For, and The Truman Show. If you need further proof that she's awesome, fellow children of the '90s, she was Elle's stern, wise, and totally badass law professor, Professor Stromwell. We'll always know that the phrase "law is reason free from passion" is an Aristotle quote because of her. Thank you for making us just a little bit smarter, Holland.

Holland Taylor has tons of TV and film credits to her name, but she's made a name for herself in the theater as well. She's appeared in many Broadway productions over the years. In 2013, she starred in Ann, a one-woman play based on the life of Texas Governor Ann Richards. She not only headlined the show, she wrote and produced it. The performance garnered her a Tony Award nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Play. Slow clap right there.

Sarah Paulson hasn't been too shy about the admiration she has for her gifted and esteemed partner. She recently posted this stunning photo on Instagram to show some love.

That's definitely not the first time they were our favorite couple on social media.

Although Sarah didn't take Holland as her date to the 2016 Emmys (she brought along Marcia Clark instead), she did give an emotional shout-out to her love during her acceptance speech when she won the statue for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie. “Hi, Holland. Holland Taylor, if you're watching, I love you,” she said to the camera. Holland's response?

We have to admit it would be a little odd if she was doing something else aside from sitting in front of the TV as her girlfriend won a major award, but we're glad to have this sweet exchange etched in time forever thanks to Twitter.

Holland is one of Sarah's biggest fans, but how does she feel about watching her girlfriend go through so much on AHS? She recently told People, “I don't like watching her in jeopardy. It's hard.” Yeah, but she does it so, so well.

This year Sarah didn't land an Emmy for her turn in Roanoke -- her first without a nomination in six years. Whoa. Unfortunately, we won't be privy to another heartfelt speech, and/or tweet, like last year, but here's hoping there's plenty of sweetness between to two of them to come. There's always next year...
