Kanye Will Get His Own Special VMA, So Now He Won't Interrupt Anyone

by Taylor Ortega

Kanye had his share of memorable moments at MTV's Video Music Awards, but this year, he is being praised for his memorable music videos.

On Tuesday, MTV declared him the winner of the upcoming ceremony's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, an honor reserved for musicians whose catalog of songs and accompanying music videos stand out among the rest.

Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Yeezy's pal Beyoncé won the award in years past.

MTV has not confirmed which video cinched the win for Kanye, but James Franco and Seth Rogen's shot-for-shot remake of “Bound 2” likely only helped the cause.
