Shots Fired: Little Mix Carries Around Fan's 'Zayn Is Irrelevant' Sign

Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik's breakup just got even uglier.

Yesterday, Edwards and the rest of Little Mix were performing in Phoenix, Arizona when fans began floating around a sign that read, “Zayn is IRRELEVANT anyway!”

The rude message, of course, is in reference to former One Directioner Zayn Malik, who allegedly dumped Edwards -- his fiancée -- via text message last week.

Several fans posted pics of the homemade sign to Twitter, and some claimed to have seen band member Jade Thirlwall toting around the poster -- but all may not be as it seems.

According to at least one fan, the sign was double sided, and the other side simply read, “Stay Strong Perrie.”

So if Thirlwall was carrying it, it's possible she only read the positive message.

After all, One Direction did spend a lot of time promoting Little Mix when they first started out.

On the other hand, if Malik did break up with Jade's pal via text -- well, we wouldn't blame her for hatin' on him.
