Miley Wasn't Actually Too Surprised Nicki Called Her Out At The VMAs

by Eitan Levine

This is the MTV version of the "Zapruder film."

Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus had a very intense and very public war of words at the Video Music Awards this past Sunday.

Do yourself a favor and recap the magic.

@nickiminaj does shade better than most. Here she takes on @mileycyrus #VMAs http://t.co/0Wh4cOvCES — NowThis (@nowthisnews) August 31, 2015

Miley, who kind of bad-mouthed Minaj in The New York Times a few days before the VMAs, was seemingly very taken aback by Roman's harsh words.

MTV now claims it has footage showing how Miley wasn't exactly surprised when Nicki called her out.

Miley clearly never mouths “what?” during the part of Minaj's speech where Minaj goes off.

MTV also points out Nicki was about to send it back to the host when Miley mouthed the word, presumably causing Nicki to change her mind about handling the situation calmly and prompting her to say, “Back to this bitch who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press, Miley, what's good?”

Let me ask the most obvious question: Are we really meant to believe MTV didn't know this feud would go down?

Why has MTV aggressively covered its tracks since the feud happened? Why are you trying to shuck blame this hard to Nicki and Miley, MTV? What are you hiding?

Call me a crazy conspiracy theorist, but this is a series of lies to the American people.

I'm telling you right now, MTV orchestrated the fight, probably by getting Nicki and Miley in a dark, shady room before the awards show and offering them a literal briefcase full of cash to throw down.

Ratings? Power? Money? The Iran deal?  There are millions of motives when it comes to why MTV took place in VMA-gate.

I'm just throwing around ideas here, but my working theory is MTV totally got Kanye West to announce his presidential campaign at the VMAs because it wanted closer access to the White House in 2020.

MTV needed to gain more followers so it had Miley and Nicki get in a fight, knowing full well it would make people turn to the awards show, thus creating a larger crowd so West could announce his candidacy.

Campaign speech + larger crowd = more votes = presidency = global domination.

I asked this before and I'll ask it again: How far does this rabbit hole go?! Who else knew what was going to happen?

I'm onto you, MTV.
