Alrighty, so you probably know by now Pretty Little Liars is coming to an end.

It's been a real dramatic seven seasons, and whether you're thrilled or devastated about it, the final episodes are lurking in the not so distant future.

Of course, as is the case with any quality television drama revolving around teenagers and murder, there are still major questions that need to be answered; and, of course, because this is the internet, people have been making valiant attempts to answer these looming questions.

Right now, the biggest concern of Liars everywhere is finding out who A.D. is, and, as of lately, the popular vote seems to suggest that Mona is the culprit behind the past two seasons' cryptic text messages and mysterious events.

Last week we saw some pictures from this Tuesday's upcoming episode that might prove this to be true, but a new fan theory emerged this weekend that suggests otherwise.

On Sunday, Redditor quinn_heart connected some Pretty Little Liars dots for us, and it looks like Melissa could also be in the running for Uber A.

According to the theory, Mona is the one who killed Charlotte in the bell tower and Melissa is the one who finds Charlotte's body and pushes it off the bell tower. The support for this comes from the fact Melissa is the only candidate left who has had any sort of relationship with Charlotte and would, therefore, be the only person likely to put flowers in her hand after she died.

Quinn_hearts' thread reads:

Whoever put those flowers in Charlotte's hand had to have affection towards her. You don't put flowers in the hand of someone you hate. You don't visit the grave and put flowers on the grave of someone you hate. The seeds of Melissa and Charlotte's connection have been planted throughout the seasons, and if Melissa is avenging her, all that has to happen is those seeds coming to fruition.

The theory goes on to suggest Melissa never called the police when she found Charlotte's body because she knew how bad the timing would look and that she might be blamed for the death, so she pushed Charlotte's body from the bell tower in order to make it easier for the police to find her.

All in all, this theory makes some strong connections. Sure, there are still loose threads that need to be tied together in order for this to be true, but it doesn't hurt to at least consider the possibility that Melissa is A.D. As we know, PLL loves to shock us, and A.D. could literally be anyone at this point.
