Nickelodeon May Be Launching New Channel For All Our Fave 90s Cartoons

by Taylor Ortega

This must be what Trump meant when he vowed to “make America great again.”

A few weeks ago, Russell Hicks announced a push to revamp old Nick shows for a new audience, and now, it looks like the company might have plans to bring the original favorites back to TV on its own channel.

According to reports, The Splat will feature Nick's most popular 90s cartoons. A recent teaser features “Angry Beavers,” “Aaahh!!! Real Monsters,” “The Wild Thornberrys,” “Hey Arnold!,” “Rocko's Modern Life,” “Rocket Power,” “CatDog” and “Rugrats.”

Nickelodeon supposedly announced the new channel during the Williamsburg-based 90s Fest.

Smash Mouth joined the celebration, reminding all 90s Nick fans what we've been missing.

A release date has not yet been announced, but I can hear Helga Pataki's screams in the "Hey Arnold!" opening faintly in the distance.
