In anticipation of the newest episode  of “Game of Thrones” (a favorite of Commander in Chief Barack Obama), the White House tweeted a photo inspired by the hit HBO fantasy series and dubbed it, “The Westeros Wing.”

The subtlety altered picture features Barack Obama holding court while on the Iron Throne (with trusty adviser Joe Biden on his side), and prominently features a crossbow perched on the table in the middle of the room.

The table is also home to all of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragon eggs, each holding the same amount of damage as the bomb dropped on Nagasaki.

While it likely wasn’t the White House’s intention to compare Obama to the much maligned King Joffrey, it’s hard to deny they did exactly that. Hopefully no one gets fired because this was a fantastic idea.

Why Did FIFA Allow Players With Concussions To Compete In The World Cup?

It’s OK to admit it: By next week, most of us will have forgotten that the World Cup even happened. There’s nothing wrong with that, either. That’s just the way our attention spans are wired these days. What’s now is now and what happened yesterday is gone. Even then, though, most of us are likely […]
