If you want to win a lot of money despite having no real talent or intelligence, then “Wheel of Fortune” is the game show for you.
It requires at least a little bit of skill and knowledge, but compared to other shows out there, it’s a walk in the park. You pick some letters, you buy some vowels and hopefully solve a puzzle or two. It’s not super complicated.
However, this Indiana University student managed to make “Wheel of Fortune” look harder than it could ever hope to be.
After guessing literally every single letter of a mystery character (“mythological hero Achilles”), Julian went on to solve the puzzle only to discover that he didn’t know how to pronounce “Achilles.”
If he were answering where he had eaten dinner before the show, A-Chill-es would have been a great choice, but sadly this wasn’t the case and the girl next to him went on to pronounce it correctly.
You can blame it on nerves or sheer ignorance, but it’s kind of hard to explain your way out of this one — especially when you’re representing your school on college week. Not a good look, Julian. Not a good look at all.
