Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Smith Reportedly Ending 17-Year Marriage

by Taylor Ortega

Dark clouds hang heavy over Hollywood for devout fans of true love, power couples and the Smith/Pinkett Smith family.

According to RadarOnline, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, two megastars in their own rights, are in the process of covertly ending one of the most famed celebrity marriages of all time.

Although rumors of struggle within the marriage circulated over the course of the duo's 17-year union, they were the kind of couple that seemed unbreakable.

Despite the pair's longtime united front, a source told RadarOnline,

For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time. They're exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union.

During an interview with Howard Stern in June, Jada responded to rumors of her husband's infidelity.

She told Stern,

You've got to trust who you're with, and at the end of the day, I'm not here to be anybody's watcher. I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man.

The rumor mill flies in favor of both Mr. and Mrs. when it comes to unfounded tales of unfaithfulness. In 2011, Pinkett Smith was accused of having an affair with singer and "HawthoRNe" costar Marc Anthony.

While details are still sparse, Radar does confirm the couple is working to split their $240 million nest egg and prepare a smooth transition for their children, up-and-comers Jaden, 17, and Willow, 14.

While the separation is still in its early stages, fans can find solace knowing if there was ever a couple that could handle divorce with love and respect, this has to be the one.
